We will have no Vocabulary Words the next two weeks due to PARCC testing.
Please continue to read nightly and complete the nightly Math Review pages.
Happy Monday and I hope you had a nice weekend! We are taking the PARCC assessment this week. IT DOES NOT COUNT and is simply for practice.
We will be doing some Chicago HIstory and Science lesson when we aren’t testing but no new material will be covered.
We have some exciting new home learning opportunities! Each student now has a username and password for ST Math and Think Through Math. Both are excellent programs and Think Through Math is aligned to the Common Core and provides PARCC style questions.

Please practice at home!

Very Important Info…
We start the PARCC  assessment this week and test Tuesday through Thursday this week, for most of the morning..
Please ask your student to leave any makeup at home or in their book bags. Colored lip gloss has become a distraction as it must reapplied throughout the day. ☺
Science and Social Studies:

We will start our Structures of Life unit in Science and continue Chicago History in Social Studies.
The weather is expected to be warm this week so please send your student dressed for slushy outdoor recess. 🙂
