Welcome to Room 206!

Category: Uncategorized – Chandra Garcia 12:33 pm

Hi! My name is Ms. Garcia and I am delighted to work with you and your child this school year.  I have the pleasure of working with students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.  Students will visit my room as part of the RtI program, which is Response to Intervention.  In Room 206, we will be working on the same skills and concepts your child is learning in their homeroom class while having time for self-directed and project-based learning experiences.

Throughout the year, the students who come to see me will change – some students will work with me for a very brief period of time, while others will work me for longer periods of time. Readingand Math are the focus of our work in 206.

I am more than happy to speak with you about what we do in Room 206. You can reach me at cdgarcia@cps.edu (available through the Contact Teacher page) or by calling 773-535-0970 and leaving a message in the Office.

I look forward to speaking with you soon.
